Role Overview
The Sales Partner role is a commission-based position for individuals who want to work in a public-relations-adjacent field, representing structured strategy programs to experienced professionals.
Sales Partners:
- Speak with potential buyers (founders, consultants, operators)
- Help them understand whether a VCAdvisors.org program is a fit
- Recommend a single appropriate program when alignment exists
- Represent the brand with clarity, accuracy, and professionalism
This is a performance-based sales role, not a passive affiliate position.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn the core positioning and offers of VCAdvisors.org
- Engage prospects via approved channels (email, social, calls, etc.)
- Ask clear questions to understand the prospect’s main problem
- Present programs in plain English, without hype or guarantees
- Recommend one appropriate program or decline if there is no fit
- Use assigned tracking methods (link and/or code) for all sales activity
- Maintain professional, respectful communication in all interactions
- Operate in line with the VCAdvisors.org Sales Partner Code of Conduct
What This Role Is Not
To avoid confusion:
- This is not a salaried or hourly role
- This is not a coaching, consulting, or advisory position
- This is not an MLM or recruitment-based model
- This is not a “post links everywhere” affiliate arrangement
You will not design custom strategies, provide implementation, or promise results on behalf of VCAdvisors.org.
Who This Role May Suit
This role may be a good fit if you:
- Are early in your sales career and want structured, ethical experience
- Are comfortable speaking with professionals and business owners
- Can communicate clearly in writing and in conversation
- Prefer thoughtful, consultative sales over pressure tactics
- Are self-directed and able to manage your own outreach and activity
Prior sales experience is helpful but not mandatory. Communication quality, professionalism, and alignment with our standards matter more.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
- Professional conduct and respect for confidentiality
- Willingness to follow the VCAdvisors.org Sales Partner Code of Conduct
- Ability to work on a commission-only basis
Training and reference materials will be provided to successful applicants before they begin active sales activity.
Compensation
- Commission-only role – no salary, retainer, or guaranteed income
- Standard commission rate: 40% of the program purchase price on eligible sales
- Commission is paid on valid, completed sales tracked through your assigned methods, in accordance with program terms
- Additional incentives for consistent high performers may be introduced over time
This structure is best suited to individuals comfortable with performance-based income.
Location & Time Commitment
- Fully remote
- Flexible hours; you manage your own schedule and outreach
- Continued activity and engagement are expected to remain active in the program
